I've had several games lately where players have retired, and they have been penalized, but they neither lost playing points nor I gained playing points. So, I see there ELO penalty, but the playing points, their loss is 0, and my gain is +0. Why is this happening? I can not gain any more points.

I rebooted, and things seem better now. I was finally able to play to the end, as this player did NOT retire, and I gained points. But, I still don't understand why, and I am up 4-1 and they retire, I don't gain points.

On another note, I am annoyed by the increasing number for "new" players, who really are not new players. Most of them user "Player 1" as their name. They clearly have been playing long enough to learn to great serve tricks, and I think that they are starting over as "new players" in an effort to get fast ELO points with the skills that they learned as previous players. Oh well. Lately, many of them get frustrated at losing to me and retire.

I guess you don't get ELO points coz ur ELO is already too high.
What is ur current ELO level ?

You of course are right. I realized that later. My ELO is 1833. So, they were a little lower, and I guess it evened out. It just happened about four times in row with different players, so I thought that it was odd. It seems fine now.
It's great to have a tennis game that has so many nice touches, with the net working correctly, the drop shots, the slice, etc. And, we get to have ELO, which is a nice extra.
