So i press give up and continue later, close the game and somehow i automatically lose after opening the game back up again. Not to mention, when the game doesn't bug out and make me lose ,it doesn't' continue where i left off.

Although, with the continue later not working it makes it much more easier to win, as if i'm facing 3 match points i can then make is level to beginner! Easy Win!

you're on Mac, right ?
I just fixed that, you can re-dl the game ; you should now have a pop-up before starting a match when there's a saved game.

It doesn't continuously save your match though ; it's saved only when you quit & click on "Continue Later", so it's not helpful in case of crash. Continuous save is only available for World Tour matches.

No idea what's wrong then.
Maybe try to send me this file, when you notice the match loading fails : "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 2013\Profiles\Default\TrainingClub.match" .
