Just here to confirm my w.o. against The King. Idk, but somehow the game didn't work.
What an impatient and unfriendly person he is...

Dasp (Q) def. MarkChan 7/6(5) 6/4

Next time I shouldn't play at 4am of my time just becoz someone illogically told me he was sleeping but at the same time (and the earlier time) of tmr he'd be working (instead of sleeping).

Also I guess the countless net cord from my opponent when I approach the net and the lag which occurs during my serve but never happens when my opponent is serving won't help my case too. And the strategy to save time by letting my opponent serve 4 aces to hold was proven costly in the end.

GL to my opponent next round

Actually a nice match, we had a lot of thrilling rallies but consistency can be cruel. All the best and thanks for enjoyable and fair match.

Heinrich Def. Mohamed 4/6 6/1 5/3 ret.
I went to the toilet after the second set, I was fresh to play my best but lag and desynchs were fantastic. I usually never complain when I lose to him cuz I don't care but this time I tried to be serious and was ready for the third set battle.
I asked to stop at *3-2 in the 3rd , he didn't accept..
I don't know why we never have a cool match without glitches, maybe just the last year's SF here was good, but who cares. See you next summer if I am still alive.

SF Heinrich von Westphalen vs. Mohamed

Postby Heinrich von Westphalen » 20 Aug 2015, 15:04

SF R Heinrich von Westphalen def. Mohamed 4/6 6/1 5/3 ret.

The hardest match on this hard court season began unpromising from my view. He dominated the rallies and I could barely defend to a 4/6 ... in 2nd set I focussed more and more and tried to stay on baseline which worked much better. 3rd set was disturbed by desyncs, rehosts and lags and at 1/2* I was on the edge to a retirement. But due to the great match before I decided to continue and had the luck a bit on my side.

Anyway, was a great performance by him and I'm sorry that it ends with an ungrateful 3rd set. All the best.

Kind regards,
Heinrich von Westphalen.

You asked if we should stop, which didn't matter for me ... and apparently it was also fine for you to continue.

"Nah, Let's finish." means that u didn't accept my request. So I have to continue or I retire.

Just ask next time if we can stop (which is a request) instead if we should (which is a question) to avoid any misunderstandings.

Kind regards,
Heinrich von Westphalen.
