I've included other categories that may be relevant. My nominations are as follows;
ATP No.1 / Player of the Year: Heinrich von Westphalen
Ridiculous consistency since the start of the season when he was just outside the top 20. Reaching 3 slam semifinals, 1 slam quarterfinal, a first Masters 1000 final in Cincinnati, and his impressive haul of 250 and 500 titles this year makes him undoubtedly the player of the year. If he keeps up his impressive consistency for the years ahead, he will eventually win grand slams.
Most Improved Player of the Year: Maryanucci
At the start of the year, he was ranked just inside the top 30. Now he has cemented himself into the top 5 including winning his first Masters 1000 title in Shanghai. It's been an incredible rise by the Serb this year. There's no doubt he'll be a slam champion in the near future.
Other special mentions go to: Heinrich von Westphalen, deguan, jeremy, MarkChan, and ShoNe.
ATP Newcomer of the Year / Star of Tomorrow: ffzzpp
A ridiculously talented ball-striker who consistently generates power and precision with ease. Who could ever forget his run to the US Open semis last year ranked #96? He is one of the very few players that I fear the most. For me, when he is on fire, it is almost impossible to win points off him let alone games. With continued improvement, commitment and motivation, he can easily win slams in the future.
Other special mentions go to: midooayman, Rogger, and jeremy.
Comeback Player of the Year: Voja
After being out of action for 2013, he won this year's Australian Open against the then-reigning World No.1. Once again, showing that he's still undoubtedly one of the best players, if not the best, this game has ever seen.
Other special mentions go to: Nadalesque, and Dr.Ivo.
Fan's Favourite: Heinrich von Westphalen
The use of his own modded scorecards and courts make TE much more interesting and fun. It's always a pleasure to see when he posts them after the completion of his tournament matches. He also makes humorous posts which are enjoyable to read.
Other special mentions go to: Dr.Ivo, Stajus, and jonnyboy21.
Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award: Dr.Ivo
I've never seen this guy lose his cool, like ever. Win or lose, fair or unfair, he keeps it real and never has any hard feelings after completing his tournament matches. That deserves massive respect.
Other special mentions go to: Mario, Mohamed, Naastooo, jwmjwm, MarkChan, Maryanucci, and Marcello Lippi
