Think about it, is it fair to get people out of the tournaments only because, it seems, they would bother you with their connections?.
I don't, a match should always be decided on court.
RL is a different story, as it's based on an objective factor (the country you live in is not, it's actually completely arbitrary) which is Ranking and it also gives some space for "surprises" which could always happen.
