wow! i was swept by dasp10! 6-0 6-1... i couldn´t do much against such a great return! just a couple of aces throughout the match... i guess the terrible lag influenced for that a bit... we slow played all the time... but anyhow he was much superior than me... good luck in the next match dasp10!

Very unlucky draw, very tough opponent to beat, even to broke serve... Week before in Stokholm I was 6th seed, now I played in 1st round with 5th seed... Could it be worse?

It was really tough match, a player with great return, i had to work hard on volleys to win a point, i didnt hit many aces or winners, he returns pretty much everything
Yes, i agree, a bit of an unlucky draw for you, but for me too
He had just one break point, i had 4 or 5 and i played my best in key moments of the match, and i defended really good to break in the third set

1.set...he didnt start very well, at 1-0 he made some uncharacteristic mistakes which cost him a break, he just threw balls all over the court...i held for 3-0, and i even had break point for a double break, but from that point on, he started to play much better, he didnt made many mistakes...at 4-2, he had his only break point, but i saved it and we held to end a set with a 6-3 scoreline

2.set...i played great at the net and cruised through my service games, and he cruised through his, no chances were made and we headed into the breaker...there it was just one minibreak that separated us, and it happened at 3-3 when he hit his ONLY, but just brilliant passing shot and that was it, he got to 6-3, i saved set point on my serve, but he aced me at 6-5!

3.set...here the crucial game was the one at 2-1, where i was lucky to come to the net at 1 or 2 points and i defended good on 2 points to seal the break...particularly the break point was amazing with me returning unreal shots and eventually finishing the point at the net!
We held pretty comfortably till the end of the match, i kept my concentration and didnt have any troubles on my serve!

It was great match, i was better in just couple of key moments, and that decided the match...im really happy to finally win one close battle, i lost a lot of them recently
