Hamachi is not a virus, I used it for over a year without problems. Probably your Antivirus detects it as a "virus", that happens with some applications...The only way you can get a virus with Hamachi is if you use it for "file transfer" and someone sends you an infected file...but we never use it for such purposes here, just for connecting.
