Nope. Many cases of lower ranked players winning RL. The problem is that your ranking is very low and that you rarely play any matches

What you have to understand is that RL is based upon ranking. the higher ranked you are and the lower ranked your opponent is changes the %. So yes, there is a reason why seeds win more often than unseeded players.

I played just to play until the end.
I had 1 / 5 break points , he had 3 / 6 break points , luck has decided the winner.
But again, I proved that I was the best server on the tour.

You aren't the best server if you play against the worst returner. Think about that. You had more aces just because I have an awful return. :) Here is the stats, and I don't see in the stats that I won by luck, but wtv. See you.

Rafaa Nadal (21) def. Federer Roger (8) 6-0 6-7(5) 3-6 6-0 6-4

Wow, if u want great matchs then play that guy !

It took me one set to find a way to win some games, in the 1st he was dominating with his spin shots, i couldn't find the solution and was doing huge number of errors and missing a lot of balls. The 2nd was the decisive one, i started to defend much better, and though he was one break ahead i came back thanks to an amazing % of efficiency on drop shots ^^ and took profit from cool returns to get the set.
The 3rd was easier for me with 2 breaks cos he wasn't patient enough and wanted the finish the points earlier. Then the 4th began with a break down for me and started to be tired so i just wanted to put more concentration in the 5th, in which we had really long games on my serves, lots of rallies over 30 shots and got broken twice, i recovered from one but couldn't defend solid enough to do it once more.

Anyway that's really cool in that game to have surprises like great matchs with brilliant points and weird scenarios, and always very cool to meet such fair players like Rafaa is, i hope he will make a real comeback for this season and to see him around top 10 soon again !

Thanks for the kind words

Weird match, i practiced alot with Federer Roger so i knew his game and that it would be tough.
The first set was closer than the score says. He had much game points and maybe some BP. But his counter style do not really fit the surface, and he absolutely wanted to be agressive and because i was defending well he did some unforced errors. Also i was attacking well.. My serve was excellent. but I was quite surprised to win 6-0

In the beginning of the 2nd he changed his mindset and took less risks, playing good dropshots and some slices.. I was quite upset of loosing the 2nd set cause i had the break, and didnt convert a lot of BP, and i played a bad tie break.
Then in the 3rd i had occasions but as usual i didnt capitalize on them
In the 4th he clearly played worse
In the 5th i continued to play like in the 4th.. It worked.

Hopefully it's not real tennis cause i'm only playing 4 or 5 setters :D

GL in the next tournaments :)
