Tati Cornet def Voja 67(2) 75 63
Well it was really not great conditions as we had desynch in almost hlaf the points.
In the first set, i broke him to serve for the set but he had a net cord and some good anticipation to break me back. I really thought it would be hard, but i managed to play great at net and to win some good baseline rallies. I hope the desynchs aren't due to the new update.
Gl Voja for the rest of the tournament.

Tati Cornet def. Stajus 7-6 (6) 6-7 (5) 7-5

The most ridiculous match I have played this whole year - but that was to be expected seeing that an update came up in the middle of the WTF  I like the new slice actually, nice addition...anyways, something is horribly wrong with serving and returning, it was almost impossible to return any serve without half-guessing or fully guessing for both of us...everything was pure luck...thanks for another timely update :jap:

I never attach a printscreen usually, but this match deserves one, since 35.35% of its points were aces  :headbang:

Image

You tell me if this is normal...our previous 3 setters we had around 20 aces each...41-35 here

Anyways, congrats Tati, you were slightly better

Jelena Jankovic def. Tati Cornet 6-3 6-7(5) 6-4

I was quite bad in this match, my return was retarded. xD GG and GL!

Jelena Jankovic def. Stajus 6-4 6-4

This one was close, I was dominating in the first set and I took a break on 4-4. In the second I started really well, taking a set in the beggining, but losing it at 4-2 or wtv, I can't remember. GG and GL!

I think I will pass through because I have the better percentage of won vs lost sets, and won vs played sets. :)

JJ def. Stajus 6-4 6-4

Well, I returned bad in the first set but did well on my serves until 4-4; there we had several long rallies and I made some unforced errors, especially one when we both ran out of accelerations  In the second set I started with a crappy game and got broken again by making 2 UEs then he played aggressively and I wasn't feeling it so he gained a 1-4* advantage with 2 breaks. Anyways, from that point I started much stronger, broke back immediately and reached 30 in the closing game but put in a very short return on MP unfortunately, allowing him to hit a DTL winner. GG and GL ;)

Edit: The serves felt normal again, really don't understand the Tati match even more now...

BlackyM - Togdyalttai 3-6, 6-3, 6-4

Very tough match, he could've win it in 2 sets, but my serve saved me few times. This is first time that I actually defeated him on Singles Tour, but timing is funny as Im already out of the tournament. However, It good to win a tough match before DC final.

First set

He broke me at the beginning, and had break point for another break, however I saved that one, but couldnt get close on his serve.

Second set

He opened it with 15-40 on my serve, and later 40-A, but I saved all 3 break points, and took momentum into next game and broke him from my first. Then again I saved one, at 3-1, but also I couldnt convert another one on 4-1 that would give me a set. Instead of it, I had tu save 2 Break Point on 5-3, luckily for me both with aces.

Third set

I opened better. Immediately I had BP, however I couldnt conver it. But 2 games later at 1-1, I got another BP, he tried to play serve and volley that point, but he volleyed my return into a net. However he did play serve-volley quite good, but unforutnately for him, he made an error when most needed.
After that my first serve was really good, I had quite high number of aces which made it easier for me to keep my serve without giving him any break points in this set

I am just an idiot who doesn't use his chances. And I should make more and more unforced errors as I know. :D I think I will retire after the AO. GL!
