''Tommy Haas's'' retirement

Postby Tommy Haas » 28 May 2010, 17:15

OK, Firstly... When I bought this game, I thought what a wonderful game,I'd be here for ages.. Then, all of a sudden, from me has been taken full version, for something I did almost year ago. And that was pretty meaningless,as I shared the key with my cousin (Stanislas Wawrinka), just trying to play from his PC..
Since I haven't got any warning messages from the MANA GAMES back then,I absolutely forgot about it. Then about a week ago, I got contacted by Mana Games I shared the key. I said, ok no problem my mistake(but think to myself, why ''they'' didn't warm me way before) and I'll completely remove, delete the key from my cousin who hasn't played more than couple of TE tour matches. As my cousin said, ''I really don't need full version'' please delete it. Of course, I deleted it as soon as I received the mail from Mana Games(and I'd do it way before if I had been asked to do so)..

Anyway, I wanted to solve the problem by deleting my cousin's key and retain my full version. But it seems there's no other ways left for me except I persuade my cousin to buy the full version. As I don't wanna do it, since he really does not need it ,this is my kind farewell to the whole Tennis Elbow and its stuff..

The matches without the full version have become true pain for me, playing on a clay and watching it as a blue Hard Court.(and plenty of other reasons)

P.S. I hope I played fair play while it lasted, I am sorry I'm leaving because I quite enjoyed this time on here.
I just wanna say goodbye to all the players, especially those who has been kind to me right from the start(Voja,Jelena Jankovic,Somil,Sybille Bammer,Flavia Pennetta,Tog and plenty others)
Thx for giving me fine times playing TE and farewell! :occasion5: :jap:

I remember we played once this year and it was a nice match - it's unfortunate that you're leaving...Perhaps Manutoo will change his mind ;) Anyways, GL in the future either way :D

but think to myself, why ''they'' didn't warm me way before

just to clarify a bit this.

1- Everybody gets warned in the EULA shown when installing Tennis Elbow that if you share their License Key, it might get canceled
2- Even without warning, it should be pretty obvious you're not allowed to share your key
3- Tommy Haas (and his cousin or whoever he shared his key with) got several "Your license key is already in use" message over an extended period of time (it's not like they tried once & stopped after that) ; so if this didn't tip them off that it was not allowed to share the key, nothing would have done the job

it's not like, ''whoever he shared his key with''.I've already said million times it was my cousin.

And about that warning "Your license key is already in use". I didn't know what was going on ,because I exactly was trying to play with my cousin. I tried everything so we could play online, and after couple of days I finally realized or better to say remembered that I ''shared'' my key long time ago, and I said to him right away to delete the key. As he's younger, he didn't even know how to do it, so I've explained to him step by step how its done.
