Togtdyalttai(1) def. Mr.Schmith 7-6(5) 6-4 5-7 6-2

Good match for the most part, but a bit odd.

The first set was a wild one. He started out well and went up 5-2. He served for the first set three times, and he had one set point at 5-4, but I got out of it and into a tiebreak. I guess I was a bit more steady there and I won. The first set was really slow, and so we had a bunch of long rallies. The set in its entirety took more than 40 minutes.

The second set was more straightforward. The conditions got faster, and so our serves were more powerful because of it. There was only one break, which occurred at the end of the set.

Third set I probably should've won. I broke him in the first game but he got it back at 3-2. Then at 5-5 I had two points to serve for the match, but he saved them. On one of them I was pretty mad at myself, because he hit a short ball, I responded with a good inside out forehand and approached to the net. I got a fairly easy volley but put it right into the net. Then he broke me in the next game, possibly because of a letdown.

In the fourth set he ran out of gas. I went up an early break, and this time instead of losing it I got another break. Once I got the second break to go up 4-1, I knew it was over. He saved the first two match points when I was serving for it at 5-2, but he couldn't save the third.

It was a tougher match than I expected, and he's gotten a lot better since I last played him. He's going to be going up the rankings pretty quickly, and I think he'll be in the top 20 before the French.

Togtdyalttai(1) def. Tati Cornet(7) 6-0 6-4 7-6(1)

Ugh, not a good match from either of us really. I can't think of one thing about my game that I was happy with, and he made too many errors for his liking, though he did get better as the match went on. I guess I limped into the final. Doubt I have any chance.

tog is right, we weren't at our best, but we had some great points.
my errors are logical, the problem with tog is you can hit 200 shots rally everytime  . as i hate long rallies, i try to attack a lot, and with spin in front of me, it's dangerous. i just have to learn to be patient.
he clearly deserves the victory, but i am unhappy about the second and third were i was one break up. in the third i saved tons of bp at 4-3, but he could convert the last one.
gl in the final, you can do it ;)
