hmmm

1.- Often see this forum to know if any new tournament applications are open or not
2.- When you see a new applications topic follow the link that the mods provides on the topic
3.- If there are two tournaments, choose one
4.- Fill the form and sent it
5.- See the forum to see if the draw is released, normally you'll see like "Tournament Name(Official Topic), draws are normally released by saturday or sunday
6.- Go to the page that's provided there on the "Official tournament" topic
7.- See the draw to know who's your opponent
8.- See the e-mails to know your opponent's e-mail and add him to msn
9.- When you contact your opponent schedule a time to play and be sure to be there
10.- Play the match, and enjoy

If you don't know how to play an online match
1.- Go to 'Network Games'
2.- If you and your opponent agreed that you would host then go to 'Host a game' and then in Create Game
3.- If you and your opponent agreed that you would join his game go to 'Join Game' then to 'Find Internet Games' and join

to get better results you should keep 780 points, otherwise your skills will change from match to match

some tips that works for me:
-First set 'Speed', 'Stamina' and all the 'Precision' and 'Consistency' skills to 100, then 'Service Power' to 70(because it's the max you can have using fair mode which is the mode we use for tournaments)
-The best two styles to use are Defender and Power Baseline
-If you want to be a good Defender, put a high amount of 'Top Spin' notice that that skill doesn't affect to the 780 points average, and use Defender style, it gives a bonus in top spin too
-If you want full attack as your style, put Power Baseline and set the Backhand and Forehand Power to 100, also use low Top Spin, I usually leave it to 0 and I can do shots at 150 km/h on a regular basis, sometimes even faster
-The last thing to set is the 'Net skills' and 'Special Skills'
