I'd like to alert you guys to the fact that we will be having a rankings bonus for the US Open series that is as follows:
· If the winner of the US Open Series wins the US Open, he/she will get an entry ranking bonus of 300 points.
· If the 2nd place finisher of the USOS wins the USO or the winner of the USOS is the runner-up in the USO, there will be a bonus of 150 points.
· If the 2nd place finisher of the USOS is the runner-up of the USO, there will be a bonus of 75 points.

The tournaments included in the USOS are marked in the calendar, which can be found here: http://www.freewebs.com/tenniselbowtour/Calendar.htm. I will be keeping track of the US Open Series points and will post the standings on the Freewebs site after every USOS tournament.

The US Open Series is now finished, and here are the top 3:

1. Togtdyalttai (285 points)
2. K Z (210 points)
3. Richou (210 points)

K Z and Richou were tied in points, but K Z wins the tiebreaker by virtue of a higher wins total in the 5 tournaments he played than Richou had in his 4 tournaments. This means that Togtdyalttai and K Z will be the two players playing for a bonus in the US Open. They will achieve this bonus (up to 300 ranking points) if they should win the US Open or make the final.
