wow, great match, my 1st official tournament match of tennis elbow 2009!
She played great, it was really hard to break her serve, and i guess i just served well, which was important to win the tiebreak and close the match. I was nervous all along, because i didn't feel i dominated at all, so it was really a thrill to finish it like that

Well thanks miguel. You played very well and deserved to win the match. Your defense is really top notch and it was difficult to hit winners against you. And you are also a very classy guy and I like you as a person. We both held serve fairly easily, but on the big points late in the sets, you played better than I did. I really blew some opportunities, but full credit to you for not faultering when it mattered.
Before losing to tati the second time in Queens, I hadn't lost a set on grass. Since then, I haven't won one. I don't know why I can't deal with it. It shouldn't be having such a negative effect on me, but for some reason it is. Like the other day, I played Blacky. I was up in the match, but I blew it and lost in a tie-break. A lot of similar losses to this--it's strange and unfortunate. Many people IMed me after the incident, telling me how they felt it was unfair and how sorry they were, but nobody seemed to say anything in public. I don't know whether people don't want to offend the mods for their decision, or what, but it has now simply been forgotten. I should have had a great grass court season. I think I could have made some surprise runs and really set myself up for a wonderful Wimbledon. It's sad that it has to end this way for me. After Wimbledon I may need to take a break from the tour. Hopefully next year I can put this all behind me and come back to the grass firing. Nevertheless, I will
never forget.
