Well, what can I say? I didn't expect it to be anything like this. I thought it would be a much tougher match, and I didn't even think I'd come out the winner. The first set was the only tight one. I was always ahead, but I had to work for it. Then in the second, I started to pull away. He still put up a good fight, but I was able to come through in the crucial moments.
Then it got weird. After the second set, he asked me if he could change his height. I had mine at like 175 or thereabouts, while his was at 155. He said it was a huge advantage, which I guess it was. Of course I didn't let him change, cuz that would be just like changing stats. And in a Grand Slam Final? Please. Then after I went up 2-0, he stopped trying. He double-faulted on purpose and didn't try to return my serve. He stopped for the last game or so, but that kind of ruined it a bit for me. I wanted to win with him playing his best the whole time, but I'll take it anyway I can get it.I can't believe I'm the French Open Champion! Woohoo!
