Hi everyone,

I have been thinking about this for a few weeks now. And this has been one of the toughest decisions I have made. But, I think it's the right time to tell you guys now.

Because I have many things to do recently, I retire from TE and its tournaments. Before I leave, I want to thank ManuTOO and all past and current moderators Chiller, Jeroen, and Blacky for all their great services here. They have done an outstanding job coordinating this game. I also want to thank Tog for much of his help. Finally, I want to thank all of you. I have really enjoyed playing with all of you guys, and it has been a really great experience for me. I have a lot of fun in the past year.

I might decide to come back and play with you guys again in the future if I have some time. Until then, see you guys all!
:)

PS: Sorry for all the trouble for waiting last week, when I was not here.

Togtdyalttai(2) def. S.Williamz(1) 6-4 6-1 6-0

Well, what can I say? I didn't expect it to be anything like this. I thought it would be a much tougher match, and I didn't even think I'd come out the winner. The first set was the only tight one. I was always ahead, but I had to work for it. Then in the second, I started to pull away. He still put up a good fight, but I was able to come through in the crucial moments.

Then it got weird. After the second set, he asked me if he could change his height. I had mine at like 175 or thereabouts, while his was at 155. He said it was a huge advantage, which I guess it was. Of course I didn't let him change, cuz that would be just like changing stats. And in a Grand Slam Final? Please. Then after I went up 2-0, he stopped trying. He double-faulted on purpose and didn't try to return my serve. He stopped for the last game or so, but that kind of ruined it a bit for me. I wanted to win with him playing his best the whole time, but I'll take it anyway I can get it.

I can't believe I'm the French Open Champion! Woohoo! :D

I talked to him and he said me he didn't deserve to be number one coz he had not won a GS.
That's why I say to him he deserves now! Of course I thought he deserved the number one lol

Just decided to write my description of this obviously very bizarre match score lol.
Basically the match was all about my errors to be honest. He did his usual clay game(which is very good) of just hitting the ball back with spin, which basically means he did nothing. So there am I, with 0 spin, and because of this new update I have to concentrate hard and press hard and work so hard to hit decent spin, there is no way I can do that for 3-4 hours when he is just hitting better spin with more ease. So seeing the hopelessness of that grinding tactic, I just start hitting hard shots, which I know will eventually go out, I start hitting weird slices and rushing the net, all tactics which I know well are hopeless on clay against someone as good as Tog. But I don't care, because I really am not enjoying myself in any way. So, till 4-4 in the first set I gave my absolute best effort, but I knew he was in control all the time, and his defense was so comfortable compared to mine. My hard shots had no impact, my grinding was terrible. So after that point, I ditched my grinding and started spraying shots, rushing the net, hitting slices and just gave him the match and that's how it went, it was over VERY quickly. In the previous version before the update, I could have had a much better chance, now I wasn't "up to date" so to speak, and I lost, this is how I view this match. I should have had more spin and just hit in the court like he did.
