Tog-whatever def. miguel 6-1 6-2

i find it amazing how someone goes throught all the trouble of building a more realistic game, and then leaves such an obvious flaw in it, where some guy with the only goal of winning-whatever-the-cost can have a completely unrealistic top spin and beat virtually everyone. The type of game-plan that tog plays is boring, brainless and unfortunately effective. Add some lag and it's almost impossible to beat him. What's the point???

Togtdyalttai(8) def. Miguel 6-1 6-2

Miguel retired after the first set saying the lag was too bad to play. There was some lag, and it was a bit annoying, but definitely not unplayable. Then we had a long ordeal before playing the second set. I won't go into that. He is extremely rude though, and I hope I never have to play him again. He hates me although he doesn't really have a reason for doing so. Says I'm cheating in every way imaginable, says I'm stupid, all that kind of stuff. Miguel, you say the topspin should be tuned, and I agree with that. It's far too easy to play how I do, but it's not cheating like he says. And why not win whatever the cost? That's kind of the point of any game. As long as I'm not cheating, what does it matter?

Oh and this would be a reserve match, but we've now passed the deadline for the 2nd round so Miguel should get a walkover over Bajko. Now I can finally move on to my big matchup with Eronakold.

as for the lag in the end of the first set, it might not disturb you much, but it does to me. and it was a "sudden" lag, which meant i could even predict when it would happen. and i have a hard time beating your brainless game as it is, i don't need to give you free points by not even hitting the ball or running and suddenly the lag stops and i hit the ball with body.

anyway, as for the question you left, the point of this game is to have FUN by playing. i doubt you have fun, except for the fact you actually win. not for the game itself that you play, cause it's boring to death. and it's supposed to replicate the game of tennis, and you're supposed to play out of passion for the sport. you only have blind ambition to win and you're ruining the game for everyone else.

i may not be nice to you, but your "rudeness" is far more dispisable.

First, the lag affects me just as much as it does you, but I play through it because I'd rather play with some lag than do random luck.

About what I said about winning, I realized I worded that wrong right after I posted it. What I meant to say was that I find it fun to strategize my way into winning in any way I can. I obviously find the game fun, otherwise I wouldn't play it. Even so, I don't find it fun playing you because you say I am cheating no matter what I do. I can have whatever reason I want to play the game, it doesn't have to be out of passion for the sport. I have a friend who doesn't even like tennis who plays.

I don't know how you can realistically say I'm ruining the game for everyone else, other than the fact that it's not the easiest thing in the world to play someone with topspin like mine. As I said, I do think that needs to be changed to make the game more balanced and fun.

As for me being rude, I challenge you to find 3 other TE players who think I'm rude. Then you're welcome to say that. Now I can guarantee I could find 3 other people who would say that about you. I'm not sure how I am rude to you either, all I know is that one day you just woke up and decided that you hated me and wanted to make my life miserable in any way you could.

I'm really not going to argue with you about that in the forum, specially not on ths thread.

I just want to make a quick and technical and obvious "repair" to what you said about the lag: it definitely does NOT affect you as much as me. I play to the lines, that's my game and i am kinda accurate. You play very inside the lines, and you can still win the points because of your top spin. I need perfect timing and position, and i can do that MUCH better without lag. I mean, my match against Algo, i simply couldn't hit the ball right, i was playing the safe mode button all the time because i simply couldn't hit my shots. With your topspin, many times i have to hit safe mode, but with the lag i have to do it almost everytime. So basically topspin+lag leaves me with no weapons. Your gameplan is VERY benifited from the lag, nor only can you still hit your shots right, you benifit from the opponents mistake, which are much more the greater the lag is. So, technically speaking, i think there is no comparison whatsoever between what the lag damaged my game and yours.

I definitely agree something needs to be done about the topspin. Especially online since it prevents so many errors.

I vote that if no improvement can be made, we switch back to playing tournaments in TE06 :D .

Togtdyalttai(8) def. Eronakold(6) 6-3, 3-6, 6-3

This was a really fun match. Even so, there was no real trend in it; it just happened. Hopefully it's a sign of many more good matches between us in the future.

Miguel was messaging both of us during the match, trying to distract us. There was no reason for this and I hope it didn't affect the result.

lol, no, idiot.
actually i was following the result, but the match disappeared somtimes, so i thought it was over or had crashed, so i asked eronakold what happened. jesus, you're so stupid. I only told you i hoped you'd lose. and if u wanna talk to me about it, do it on msn, don't go around on the forum telling lies about me, i never disturbed eronakold, duh! As for you, i don't care, if you feel disturbed then you should turn off your msn when you play.

Seriously Tog, you really should let it go by now, i know i was the one exposing your cheating some months ago, but there is no need for revenge! ;) we both know you should thank me, if i hadn't exposed you, u'de never come clean. and obvisouly you became a saint right after everyone knew it! so it was a miraculous change in you! :D
