Problems with Net on Mac OSX

Hi guys,

using Rounder's courts I can't avoid double net even putting misc_00 file into the Data/miscsprite folder...
nor, if I want to play with Sam courts, they just have original net and not the one I put into the Data/miscsprite folder (ex. the one with corona logo)

I'm not using patches, but original TE2011 on Mac (just making personal customizations of the game)

Now Then i'm not sure if it works the same way for Mac??
So where's your miscsripe folder in your pack 1??

the path is Data/miscsprite and the file is misc_00.tga
is there any relationship with other files?

for sure there's some way on mac too because when I run the modded game (Sam) it works perfectly

Yes that's right for sams patch so it should work with the courts with the Nets showing from rounders and the misc_00 from rounders.

The original TE11 unmodded version, it wouldn't work as miscsprite is in pack1 and it's always best to leave that alone if you're not sure what to do.

yes marca thanks a lot! and thanks ANDY as well!

so that file contains logic for combining court.jpg and misc_00.tga files!? then each court should be provided with the suitable misc_00 net (if any different from standard)?

I see that most of the latest 2D courts are being released with the original net.
It looks really great but there's a BIG ISSUE....The opponent, in the upper part of the screen, when he's coming down to the net, when he reaches it, it's like stepping over it...you can actually see his legs very clear which shouldn't be the case.

I don't know if something can be done about that...if not, I don't think it's worth this price for releasing courts with the original nets..just my opinion

I haven't being able to check it properly yet, as i'm still on the bloody futures/challengers, are you talking about the computer player at the upper part of the screen Lucian? Because when i put my player there on training mode it worked just the same as it did with the original TE net.

You've got better Eyes 8-) than me, because i couldn't see the image you posted at all :wink:

I can now :D And it does seem the upper part of the players body at the far End is a bit over the net, if it bothers you that much, i would just play the courts without the Nets in the pic.

i don't think we can do smthg about that , maybe we should ask manutoo ?!

is it possible to put the real 2d net in a misc_00.tga file or not ?? (if you see what i mean)
so the court makers gives us the net with it's court just like how rounders does
in that way we garanti that this problem will disappeare
i think it's the only possible way to avoid that problem

Hmm! There is a floor with the modded courts with NETS! Not only what Lucian has said about the players, but the ball as well - So it seems the game dosen't recognise the TOP of the net (the white tape bit) as if it's Invisible, the ball just flies straight through it :shock: So unless a sloution is found, which I doubt :fear: The courts with NETS are useless to this game.
