I want to know what type of programs, applications, software (if any) that you guys use to open ini, menu, and def files. ANYTHING but notepad .

I use "notepad++"

But you can use "WordPad"

Okay I guess notepad++ is a huge difference to notepad , but yeah, anything that doesn't burn my CPU and "Not Respond" like crazy when I open these 3 types of files (like normal notepad does -_-). I wonder if there's anything else than notepad++??

Oh yeah and also, any good or trustworthy programs/apps/software to open .rar files? Cheers guys.

I use microsoft word sometimes to open big ini files but notepad++ stays the best in my opinion for these files
For RAR files I use simply winRAR lol
