Jono4Sure wrote:Have a question as this is my first time doing a double handed backhand, do any of the animators know if there is a way to connect the left hand to the racquet handle? Any of the other animatiors who have done a double handed backhand found a way around this? :)

Maybe McDeez or Manutoo could answer to this question ! I asked once M4n4c0r about this and he told me that he just manually put the left on the racquet :) It's a little bit annoying but it easier now with the new biped version (since you can se the fingers)

Besides that, I hope you don't mind but I just finished to work on my version of Federer's backhand...he's my favourite player (I basically play only with him in world tour mode) and I wanted to do the most elegant backhand as I could.....I'm just happy about it :) my best work so far imo
Apologize to have made in such short time after your version (I had it in my mind for 2 weeks already)

Hope you like it:

So, I'm going to make Murray's serve V.2 and then move to Nalbandian (my second favourite player)

That's good Megyaem30..seriously...a couple of suggestions if I may:
- watch the head movement better
- when the racquet hits the ball, it should perpendicular with the ground..in your video looks parallel..it's like a sword cutting something.
All the rest it's good now: the speed, the feets, the balance...you're improving a lot

Look my 2H-BH anim. You have to make the target of the left hand to be the "racket" in Motion -> Key Info -> IK ; after you have to do a planted key on it. Result is not perfect for the elbow & shoulder rotations, so you'll likely have to do at least 2 or 3 keys anyway.
