I'm trying to update the tour ini's topic29-17924.php trying to make it more accurate & I'm starting with the 1973 ini. I know the Australian Open that year started the day after christmas 1972 & finished on 1/1/73 & it was prominently doing this throughout the 70s with the exception of 1977 where it had 2 Australian Opens in January & then again in December.

Is there any way I can set the Australian Open to be the very first tournament of the year happening on the startup week of your tour once you set up (as it usually starts on the 52nd week of the preceding year of when you're actually starting)?

in TE2013, you cannot have different tournament types from one year to another. Re-read carefully the topic you have linked.

so basically, in this case the Australian Open has to forever be the 3rd week of the year at {Tournament006} it cannot be any time else (I know that pretty much matches TEM2's default ini, I know TE13 ini it's {Tournament005} but it's still 3rd week) no matter what? even if I changed the default ini to match what i want in the year's ini?

In TE2013, yes.
In TEM2/TE4, you can do a lot more except for having the same Slam twice in the same year and having it start on Week 52. Read "Different Tournaments each year" here : topic11-31376.php .

Ok so by that I should stick to TEM2 & TE4 (Once I have a competent cpu to play it because sometimes it loads slowly on the browse Mods screen as I have the Steam Versions)

This is the first notes & 10 events what I have edited up on my ini based from the 1973, Pay no attention to a couple of the events that are under other events just solely the ones directly under [TournamentXXX] like I have to move Johannesburg & Christchurch to later in the year (And make another Johannesburg for WCT for April) & Figure out where to put the specific davis cup events like the first one here & how to try to make that the closest to 1973 if I can't make it the 53 Teams & Format.

Do I need to put any additional info on these?

I know a little about the YearPeriod because I see the Doha one at the top of the generic ini (even though that tournament never really opened the season let alone existed until 1993 on the ATP Tour). Should I add that to some of the events,

I know some do get moved around from 1973 to 1974 like Sydney (New South Wales Open) sharing "week 1" with AO & Auckland (for "Week 2" & Baltimore dropped to the end of january beginning of feburary.

1) TEM2 requires a lot less power than TE4, but you won't have Mods for it.

2) Several tournaments don't have a section ; eg; "Name = Christchurch" should be predeceed by [Tournament003_b] (replace "003_b" by anything of your convenience)

I won't check all your tournaments, though.

3) Use YearPeriod as you see fit for your goals. If you want different tournaments in some years, it's your tool.

I never knew anything about the "_b" Tournaments section, What's that supposed to represent? I know Sydney is my [Tournament003] but I never knew anything about basically "Subsections" to tournaments.

It's just those few that didn't have anything above as I mentioned is just temporary until I get to where they actually were in the year (Which was much later in 73). These are the next events I have after [Tournament010] Again some will be moved around

I'm up to [Tournament025] & working on figuring out how to set up [Tournament026] which is the Cacharel Caracas Open on the Hard Outdoor court with 16 for the Single Draw. I know that & Hilton Head (CBS Tennis Classic) were Round Robin events in 1973, but obviously round robins can't be done in TE.Also trying to figure out if for some have the $ for prizemoney & then others have Euros (except Wimbledon has Pounds)
