I am trying to recreate the complete itf tour in a mod with the right regulations.
In real life the process is as follows:
-A player can enlist himself in multiple itf tournaments each week
-A player will be accepted in just one according to some rules.

The rule I’m most interested in is the following (this is a quote from the official website)

Main Draw takes priority over Qualifying

Example 1

At the Withdrawal Deadline, I am in the Qualifying Draw of an M25 tournament, and the Main Draw of an M15 tournament. I will be withdrawn from the M25 tournament and be selected into the M15 tournament.


How can I mimick this behaviour? For me it is quite difficult to do this by playing around with the parameters like the highest ranked player for each tournament category and the probability parameter.

Some weeks there are 4 itf tournaments and other weeks there are 18, so that’s what makes this complicated.

you won't be able to do that ; it'd require some serious coding into the engine, and you don't have access to it.

That is what I was expecting haha.

Am I correct that players prefer tournaments with more prize money over tournaments with less prize money?
Maybe I can exploit this fact by setting the same value for the highest ranked players for both M15 en M25 tournaments.
Then the higher ranked players will choose the M25 tournaments but other players will enter the M15 main draw instead of M25 quali.

I think it would be a very cool feature if in the future players would choose their tournaments also on their current location, how many tournaments they have played recently, the expected number of points they can earn and expected prize money.
In my studies I used to make these kind of models and out of curiosity I am planning to analyze this myself for fun (I am a huge nerd, I know).

Players prefer tournaments with a bigger total prize.

They also favor their country (but not region), and have a bigger chance to play if they didn't play recently. They also have more chances to play in bigger tournaments (this one can be tuned in the TourCategory.ini ; it's the TopPresence).
