Greetings, all. I'm trying to create a fairly simple scoreboard, one that can be used in all tournaments, not tied to any HUD. Nothing too fancy)

Thus far I've managed to mod one with names properly set, country flags, score, tournament name and round. I'd like to widen the space for the players' names, and add the current seeding from the tourney being played. Perhaps country name and current rank.

I've seen much of the great work done on scoreboards here, but am not a coder, tho a fast learner. The mods available to d/l here are all tied to specific tourneys, tours, etc, and I'd just like to create a simple, universal scoreboard for my custom universe.

Thanks for any help. Found this game two years ago, started playing about a year back. Undoubtedly it's the best tennis sim - leagues above the corporate hacks - and one of the finest sport sims overall. Incredibly creative and dedicated work; even the flaws are charming) I look forward to TE4.

you have these variables for each player :
seed
Country
Rank

usually, like this : /$p/seed , but it depends on the menu.

I've managed to widen the scoreboard and place the countries; I imagine I'll work out the seeding soon.

Unrelated question: is it possible to add countries to the game? I was appalled to find my Welsh players can only be represented by Great Britain; Scotland too!)

Yes, just add them in "Data/Countries_English.txt" (plus the language file you're using if it's not English).

Ah, pardon a belated additional question, but how/where do I add the flag icons so they'll show up on the standard pre-match character sheets? (Right now it says the proper country, but the flag space is blank.)

The flag is shown in the match presentation screen when the game is not modded, so I guess your Mod has a bug or something like that...

Ah, no, I just had to figure out which folder to place the icons in...a little trial-and-error, and it works perfectly! I try to keep my mod very simple so as to avoid conflicting with the base game while I learn. Thanks manu!
