Qualifying sets

Postby MichaelTA » 11 Oct 2018, 18:40

Is there a way to set the number of sets in qualifying rounds specific to a tournament category? (e.g. 1 set for futures/challengers, 2 for 250, 500 and 1000 events, 3 for gs)
I'm aware that before a match you can change it for the specific upcoming match, but there's no way to set it to 3 for gs like how the final qualifying round at wimbledon is.

Also, is there a way to set it so that qualifying rounds could have a 3rd set 10-point tiebreak instead of a normal set like how some futures tournaments work in reality?

Hello,

no, you can't change either of these.

Thanks for the reply.

Would it be possible to add these options into TEM2/TE4?
(Not necessarily as default options, even just something that could be edited in Tour.ini or TourCategory.ini)

In real life, Match Tiebreaker in Singles Futures Tournaments only happens if the schedule is late due to the weather conditions.

That's alright then, because it's always sunny in the Tennis Elbow world... ':D

I'm trying to set up my world tour on Tennis Elbow 2013 trying to figure out the real life set options for Qualifying, Challenger & Futures, 250/500 & Masters I'm guessing they're all at least 2 out of 3 sets. Anyone Correct me where I'm wrong as I am trying to catch back up on Tennis setups but never went into the deep end on it (even back in the 90s with the Digest shows on Prime showing ATP highlights with Goran, Kafelnikov, Krajicek, Moya Bjorkman etc)

I know about that site & I am trying to gather from there, unfortunately they have the most results starting at 1991 (Even though the toggle only goes to 2001 you have to manually set the calendar to 1991 to get the older ones), but like if I want to get the 70s or 80s from the ITF & back when it was the ILTF, it only has the slams & nothing else. I'm lucky I can find most of the older results on the ATP website it's just trying to gather the proper info to update the tour ini files to fit the year correctly (like the 1973 AO actually starts the day after Christmas 1972).
