If you don't want the game to be lagged using flag version, then follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your Tour.ATP.ini in Data
Step 2: Ctrl+F find AUSTRALIAN OPEN and delete this line

Step 3: Now open your game and make sure your option for the scoreboard like this. I hope you can enjoy the game with the new scoreboard!!

Attention: the flags only appear in World Tour Mode

If I can tell, I'm pretty much involved in that too and have to say that it's both a graphical and programming issue.
You need to design the graphical elements (see images in the corresponding folders) according to the logic contained in the corresponding menu files (that is a mess for me, since skills of software developer are required).

I downloaded the no flag version to use in training mode, but it still shows a blank space where the flag would normally be. How can I fix this?

This is the same problem i'm having. We downloaded the no flag version so why does it look like this?
