Hi

Firstly really enjoying this game it has to be the most realistic sports game I have played. I’m just getting into the world of modding which is great and really adds to it. Really looking forward to te4.

I have a few queries regarding tournament entry and was wondering if it is possible to do a few things. Sorry if some of these have already been asked I couldnt find anything when searching .

1) Firstly can you have a national tournament i.e only UK players player if so how can I get only UK players to enter.

2) Also is there anyway you can set the player who enter a specific tournament. I know I can change to top presence and best rank but was wondering if there was a way to have say players ranked 1, 4, 10, 15, 18 etc play a specific tornament.

3) Also is there a way to have players only playing in tournaments for that region. In some of the tournaments there will be Asian players in clay court events in Europe when there tournaments in Asia, that in real life they would play.

One other thing I can’t seem to find. In terms of tour category is there a set number the game handle. Every time I put more than 90 categories the game freezes. Is there something I can change to put more in?

Max number of categories is 50. Why do you need more..?

I was looking to have one category for each tournament so I could set the best rank, top presence and wildcard etc dependent on what the other tournaments that week to make things more realistic. So if I had 5 futures event in a week I could set these things as different so if there was a tournament say in France and Slovenia, the French would generally have a better entry list but be the same level. I am now looking to change the prize money at these tournaments so this means the higher ranked players are more likely to French ones.

You can add a "TopPresence" entry in each tournament.

Quick question in terms of qualifying entry and using off time to determine which week a player plays. If I want a player to play in qualifying for an event where the main draw is in week 2 do I put them down to play week 1 or week 2 when using off time?

you should make their off-time start in week 3 (and/or stop on Week 52 of the previous year).

You mean that you can weekly stop and reactivate players (thus affecting their schedule)?
Which string are required and where exactly?

randymoss78 yes you can it takes a bit of time to go through the players. You can use the off time function to do this (its described in the how to mod Tennis Elbow 2013 at the top on the main page). So if you wanted some to play only Brisbane week 1 , Oz Open week 3&4, Doha week 7 , Indian Wells week 10 you would put it in as 2.5-6.8-9 and so on for the rest of your tournaments. It doesn't guarantee that players will enter specific tournaments but it does shape the game a bit better particularly for top players if you are using best player and top presence etc.

Pretty a mess, indeed, but I will test it soon.
Could be useful for instance to make Roger skip the whole clay season: in that case, it should be like: "x, x, x, 2 15-23, x, x" correct?
