New to this game and to modding

Postby zeldafan123 » 25 Dec 2017, 00:46

Hello everyone,

I am sorry if this is a redundant topics. But I just recently bought TE2013 and I also installed the Maxou mod for macbook pro. I do have a couple of questions as I am new to modding and I find some things a bit confusing.

1) Can I install more than one mod? If so, how do I do that without overriding the other ones?
2) I noticed that on youtube videos that people are playing with real players (Federer, Nadal, etc..) yet the game has none of those characters. How do I add them? (Names, stats, playing style, etc..)
3) How do I save controller settings? I am using a PS4 controller and it seem like when I disconnect it and exit the game, the settings are reset and all the buttons that I remapped are gone.

Thanks

Hello,

1) topic29-11960.php

2) topic15-9343.php (I guess :) )

3) If you have put a Tennis.ini or a Profiles folder into the Mods folder, delete it

4) It looks like a wire frame mode ; game can turn it on by pressing Left Shift + W, but only when DevMode is on and on your picture it's off (coz no info text on top left of the screen) ; maybe you have turned it on in your display drivers or something like that ?

1) That helps, I will try to implement that. I have a macbook, so I am unable to run .ini files, but it seems like I can edit them in TextEdit

2) That is not what I am looking for. When I play World Tour, none of the characters have real players names. I am looking for a way to change that. Thanks

3) I don't have either folder there

4) I have no idea what a wire frame mode is lol. How can I check if it is on my display driver?

I just noticed that my full version is missing some files, compared to the demo version:

this is the demo version:

This is the full version:

As you can, the only thing there is the shortcut icon and none of the other files.

Edit: I found the files in Steam.

I fixed the lines issue by uninstalling the game and installing it again

I fixed the ATP players name problem by replacing the ATP players .ini file with the one from the demo

1) .ini files are just text file, so you're good there

2) Maxou Patch should have real names, so it might mean you didn't install it correctly

3) It's very strange then, I'm not sure what's going on
