Hey guys! I've been trying to expand the quailes of Fed Cup from 32 to 64 nations but I can't figure out how to do it without the game breaking down. I have enough players from each of the countries in the game but it still does not work. Any suggestions?

I read the forum and tried what it says. I kept 4 rounds of Fed Cup in the Calendar, and only changed the number of qualification rounds from 3 to 4. Nothing changed so I tried changing it from 3 to 2 and it worked, there were just 16 teams in the qualies now. Then I tried changing it back to 4, even 5 or 6 but no change again. The draw says that it is a 64 draw, but it does not look so and there are only 32 teams in the qualies. I added all the teams into Tour.ini to the Davis_L2 part, naming them L33 to L64. I made sure that there are at least two players from each of those countries for the years that I intend to play and I even tried deleting all the tournaments in the fed cup week as well as the week after for all the four weeks in which fed cup is played, but still no change. It seems that the game is set to only include 32 teams in the qualies no matter what.

I checked and it says "Draw 64" for the original game ; so if everything works and you added a qualifying round, then it should say "Draw 128".
But there's a maximum of 64 countries in a draw, so it can't work. I'll raise that to 128 for TEM2/TE4.

Non, je n'avais pas changé cette limite. Je viens de le noter pour le prochain changement de format de sauvegarde, qui arrivera je ne sais pas trop quand...

To stay on topic, is there any chance to see Davis Cup new format into future game developments?

I mean:
- 1 to 3 quali rounds (WG and lower levels) with the current schedule (just best of 3)
- 1 week event with RR and finals, with just three rubbers
- controlling players/venues/ground selection

I'll wait 5 years to be sure they keep it like this and then I'll see if I change it in the game... (right now, ATP still uses classic format and I really don't want to change it only for the women Tour)

I see, I can imagine such a huge effort behind that!
Anyway (unfortunately) I think the new format will rule for years and would be nice to have in game, so just waiting patiently
Playing as it is now would sound vintage for the next year lol

Although this news is from last year, If I'm not mistaken, it's been approved and it's likely to appear even for the World Group in the next few years:

the changes still didn't make it to the World Group, so I'll safely ignore them for now...
