OK. Do you have a link to some documentation on how to line up the court and exactly what keys to use? I assume that you mean the 3 key is the one on the numeric keypad, or maybe it is the one above the letters, or maybe it does not matter. Either way, it does not work (for me). Are you saying that it should not matter whether or not I am in warm-up or match in Devmode (that the changes should be saved either way)?
What I do is this: in Devmode, I go into warm-up or match and then I use button 7 to move the court just a bit more toward Player 1's end. Then, I press 9 (many times). Next, I press Esc. I exit the game (by Leave the court, Give up, whatever, but not the cross or Alt-F4). I go back to the court, and, at least if I had been in Warm-up, the change that I made is lost. Am I doing something wrong? Pressing button 3 does not and never has for me loaded any changes that I have made; it always moves the court so that it is up in the air, and it is the same movement every time that I use the numeric-pad button 3. Is anyone else having this issue?

Please tell me what the lowest possible value of Dist is in the [Camera] section of the <profile>.ini file. It seemed to have stopped making a difference after about 2800. I am trying to move the court more toward player one's end (the bottom of the screen), and I was hoping to just do it by lowering that value, but it seemed to have reached a limit, as I can go from 2800 to 1000 with no effect. I'm watching the ball as it strikes the wall behind Player 2 and then drops to the ground. Right now, it drops a little on the wall rather than at the base of it as the court needs to be moved just a bit toward the other end.

There's no real minimal value for Dist (except 0), but u should set the camera mode to "fixed" before doing some changes, so u could appreciate the outcome more easily (coz in dynamic, the camera auto-zooms to have the players more or less on the same position on the screen).


PS to everybody: I'd also appreciate that no one requests my help for this topic without reading the "Data\HowToMod.html" 1st, and trying a lot by himself to be sure he's completely stuck... Every time I answer a question here, I lose time to build the next TEM update, and thus delay the port of TE2009 to Mac OSX, and of the next TE2009 PC update as well..

OK. Noted about the questions. I had read the documentation, but I had forgotten where I had read it. I just looked at it again. But, reading it does not fix the issue.

If you set the Dist to 1000, the court is no more moved than if you set it at 2800, so there seems to be a limit, but I don't know why. Anyway, don't worry about it, and I will try not to bug you with this anymore.

just checked & Dist is reset to default cam distance every time u enter the court... it'll be fixed in next update...

Did you try reading the html on how to that mautoo mentioned
alot of us aren't sure as well, I know manutoo is busy with his updates
so just hold on, i've learned to use the dev mode, just by trial and error on my own.
I rather not give the wrong info and confuse the whole thing
I promise if i come up with an easy solution, i'll posted it asap.
also you have to understand, mana games never promised to back me up on this dev1 or court07 stuff.
also i would suggest, if you don't know already, learn how to use the custom mode for starters.
