Creating animations

Postby jeffpresidentlo » 09 Feb 2014, 11:09

Hi there,

I am new to this wonderful and fascinating game but I have found that a lot of lower-ranked athletes(those hanging out in the challengers and the futures) in the world tour session have inaccurate animations (strokes and serves). I would like to help out creating animations for this game but I am a complete newbie to modelling and animations. I have AutoDesk Maya but found out that most people ( not sure, just pure guessing :?: ) in this forum creating the animations are using 3DS Max. I wonder if anyone could post a little tutorial on using the Maya for constructing animations and how to import it to the game itself. Thanks for the help in advance. :applause:

You can't use maya the game engine only supports 3ds max. The reason why everyone is using 3dsmax 8 is because manutoo made an exporting device for that certain 3ds max

Ok then, any preference on the version of 3ds max which would be compatible to the game engine?
