Custom strike sounds depending of court with TE2013 v1.0a

Hello,

v1.0a will be released in a couple of weeks and will let you set up different strike sounds depending of the current court.

In Court.ini, you can now specify, under [Physics] :

BaseSoundNum   =   59

It means for all sounds in Sound.ini from Sound01 to Sound08 , the engine will check if there's a replacing sound from Sound59 to Sound66 ; all of these sound entries should either exist (and be empty if there's no replacing sounds) or above the number of total sounds ; ie, if you want to replace only the "Service_Low.wav", you can do this :

Sound61      =
Sound62      =
Sound63      =
Sound64      =   MyService_Low.wav

If you were not putting the line "Sound59 =", then the internal sound numbers would be messed up and the game would not play the sounds you want.
And if you have more than 64 sounds, then you must also add the empty entries for Sound65 & Sound66.

And if nothing is specified in the Court.ini, then you can specify the sounds used from the Tennis.ini by adding this line under [Sound] :

CourtBaseSound   =   59

So a Modder could add the possibility to choose the sounds from within the menus (but before to start the match!).

GREAT NEWS ! Thanks :) Not sure if I understood well how it works (unlike the net selection which is pretty clear) but I'll test it as soon as you'll release the new version of the game

It would be nice if we could shift the first BaseSoundNumber further, i mean for example, using 90, even if our last female grunt ends at n°80 for instance. I tried but then it didn't worked, i had to use 81.

It works well but, let's say you have 7 different soundpacks, the day you want to add one grunt, then you have to shift the whole soundpacks numbers +1 by hand. Or is there a better solution to make it more simple ?

it should be possible by putting all the empty sounds as "Sound81 =" and so on.
