Assign acceleration animation to normal strike?

Postby Bata » 11 May 2013, 03:26

Is it possible to change it so that the acceleration animation occurs for both acceleration and normal (not topspin) strikes? It kinda looks strange when a Rafa-like buggy whip happens for a normal strike with no topspin.

Just copy the anim, change it name, and replace it to the anim you don't want

Thank you for the eye rolls. I can't imagine how difficult it is to communicate without them.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough.

I would like the acceleration animation to happen both when I hit a normal strike with no topspin and when I hit the acceleration shot. I would like the regular animation to occur ONLY when I hit a topspin strike.

For example, say I use Rafa's forehand but assign a Federer forehand as the acceleration animation. If I am hitting the normal stroke that has little or no spin, I don't want Rafa's buggy whip follow through, I would like the across the shoulder follow through. I guess I am not as universally wise as Nigogu, but I just don't see how that flippant answer helps me with my question at all. Notice my lack of rolling eyed smiley usage.

Now, can someone kindly explain to me if and how I can do that.

Furthermore I would like to say that it is quite disappointing when someone, apparently a frequent enough user, responds disrespectfully to another poster for no reason. I rarely post on this forum, and when I do it's to find an answer to something I cannot answer myself. Disrespectful, unhelpful answers with childish eye rolls serve only to discourage others to post their questions on this forum.

Bata,
put your mouse cursor on nigogu's "rolling eye" emoticon, and you'll see it says "unsure", not "rolling eyes", so no need to get upset... ( <= this is me rolling eyes ;) )

Hm, I really don't think that was the intent ! People use the "rolling eyes" emoticon for mockery purpose usually (trying to be ironic somehow), regardless of what is written over it. Nothing wrong with it but I'm really sure that that's why people are using it. Just look at the answer he gave: "just copy........" like it was an obvious answer. In reality he didn't understand the question and gave a vague and wrong answer.

Anyway, @Bata, it's not possible unfortunatelly what you're asking.
@Manutoo...could you make it possible one day ? :D

I find it quite ridiculous that nobody is giving him a proper answer, well aside from lucian.

nigogu, try to be a little more professional next time and leave those emoticons out of your response. They tend to make your message a little offensive and arrogant.

Manutoo, you responded but didn't answer his question, nigogu was rather unclear if you ask me, could you try and answer the question? thank you.

Well, that was my intent!, because i wasn't sure of my answer, of if who asked will understand me.

Really? professional? This is a forum, of a game and i don't think i need to be so professional, is my choice to answer, and i can answer what i want and what i think because i want to help, and i take the time to read posts, that it's not my obligation!, well as i was saying, i can answer what i want, including or not, emoticons.

Best Regards to everybody. :jap:

I'm not so sure about that

Anyway, I see that your English is decent so the next time you're not sure about your answer just start you sentence with: "I think", "I suppose", "Maybe.." or just simply say that you're not sure....When your're telling to somebody to "just do....something" it means that the answer is obvious and straightforward. It's ok to be ironic but not when you're completely missing the point.

Thanks for the compliment, English isn't my natal language.
And thanks for the tips will try to apply them since now.
Kind Regards! :jap:
