Hi,

I am totally new to this game.

I am trying to download and add animations from the post "Custom Animations by The "TE Animation Team""

I am just extremely confused about how to do this. Could someone please please explain it in easy terms? (ie., say I want to add animations of Federer, how do I do it?)

[I did read the instructions about creating folder for playermalexx etc but I mean if I just add the file in there nothing happens?]

Remember you have to have FULL game.

How to add the animations into the game
1. Go to scripts/gamesys.ini
2. Look for [StrikeAnim] ('Ctrl + F' is easier), but you can do it manually by looking at the bottom of the file.
3. There are 6 variables under [StrikeAnim]
4. Increase the number of all choosable strikes anims. I personally raised to 20, but you can increase to 100 if you want.
5. Open the data/models/anim folder.
- If you have the "1st way of installation" of Sam's Patch, you have to download first the "qped.exe", and then open the pak03.pak file (park01.pak if you're not using a patch) from Data folder
- If you have the "2nd way of installation" of Sam's Patch you should find it directly in Data folder
5. Create a new playermalexx folder in data/models/anim, where xx is a number following the highest already here (am I clear ?)
6. Now the difficult part, there are two ways to do it :
-- a. Make a database for every added strike so you can know clearly in which folder is the last stroke or serve. Then you'll avoid having empty folders
-- b. Create a new playermalexx folder every time you add a group of anims
7. You're set

My problem is the same... I know, that it is for you very annoying but aren´t there any other instructions? this sounds like just "replacing" or "adding" files but that doesn´t agrees and nothing happens...

IS IT REALLY SO DIFFICULT?

If you don't want to do the whole process, Download a patch or a Mod

I downloaded a patch and it is fine, but I can´t stand the feeling that I am not able to do it
I got 4 Tsonga´s serve files(txt,anim...) last playermale with serve is 26 and in Pak file is the last one 8...
And then I´m dead...I tried almost everything :/

guys, what is your problem?
is easy, go to your Data folder, if you had a patch you found out there the folder models, inside you got two folders, anim & texture, just go to anims and youll see there the playermaleXX (XX is a number, 01,02,03 etc) open that folder and install the .anim file with the corresponding .txt file
If you want to had more folders, just go to the folder scripts, inside is gamesys.ini file, open it, look for the lines [Strike Anim]
there you found this lines:
MaxService
Maxforehand
Maxbackhand...and some more
so, increase the values of the Maxstrokes lines, at 100 if you want...then go to playermale and manually ADD the amount of folder that you need..

Thanks, now I can do it... there is just one problem... I can add all animations, except animations from Lucian86 don´t work...it´s a shame, because he has got one of the best ones :/ but you can LOCK
