U need to play a lot with adjusments, mostly color correction, selective color, match color, hue/saturation, brightness/contrast to get the face color as much similar to the base face color, then also u can use blend/smudge tool and healing brush. At first u can get lost a bit, but later it's intuitional.
With Sam's faces combined, I have now 450
