Season 1 finally starts.

Before you apply for your first tournament, I highly recommend to read the Rulebook: http://www.freewebs.com/tenniselbowtour/tew%20rulebook%20v1.1.pdf

The most important things you must know are hidden in the rules, so read this carefully and please, take it very serious:

a) Players are obliged to play their matches on time. If player has problems contacting his opponent, he is obliged to report that in the official Tournament Topic in the Managames Forum. If the time limit has passed and the match is not played, the Staff will make a decision on this matter.

b) It is not allowed to disturb opponent by switching applications or talking in chat during the match. Anybody who does this a lot, could be punished if his opponent reports him.

c) It is not allowed to serve from the outline. This means that player must be closer to the midline of the field than to the outline when serving.

d) It is not allowed to come too close to the net when your opponent is serving.

e) Tournaments are played in Fair mode.

I will add another rule:

- It is forbidden to use a bug shot (that is combined by defensive lob buttons)

This is a shot which first bounces very high and then very unpleasant for the opponent, it slows and kills the game. There are only few players who know how to make this shot so I warn them not to use it in the tournament games.

Thanks a million. It is hard for me to play against opponents as it is. I found out that 2 of my 3 tournaments I was knocked out easy with the bugged shot method!!

Now, I am ready to sign up for the fourth tournament.
