Retiring from Tennis Elbow

Postby stuey » 27 Dec 2008, 15:44

Hi people.

Well, this is a bit sad news (maybe happy for some people :P ), but I definitely decided to retire from Tennis Elbow, from both jobs, as a player, and as a moderator.
I had a great time with u guys. I always wanted to become someone who will be in charge of tournaments in any sports, who will make calendars and rankings... Tennis Elbow made my dream come true. I really enjoyed my function here, but now all that joy is gone and I've been feeling a bit choked by TE for a while. So from now on I'll waste my time on something else besides TE :)

I wanna thank everyone here, starting with Manutoo who created this game, then my colleagues BlackyM and Chiller who are great moderators and also friends, and finally all other players who participated in tournaments.

So long, guys

Sorry to see you go, Stuey. You did a good job, but after seeing you not be as active lately I wondered if your heart was into it anymore. It's gonna be different without you though.

Dear Stuey, :D
Here is for the 1st time (with u) I'm gonna be serious and will share all my sincere thought. First, of course the proposition of BlackyM is gonna be broken ( :D ) but in another way i think that stuey has revolutionize TE tournaments because it's even because of him (think) that tournaments exists, and when u said I always wanted to become someone who will be in charge of tournaments trust me i knew it from the 1st day I went here player, the way u present tournaments, calendar, schedules, registrations, updates and even rules. Not all peoples will take their time to present good subjects, tournaments as I said, this is way IMO : will be hard to find someone who could replace stuey has a mod, and even I'm worried about it, because 2 guys can't build tournaments only (they aren't able 24/24) so my new good idea is that both Chiller and Blacky are gonna try to find good new sub-mods naming
- a president and administrator of the freewebs site, and vice-president
- a world tour director
- assistant director in case of if the wtd isn't able
- RANKING director
- League & Nations Cup director

I think those are the necessary ones and eventually a Challenger Director assistant etc....
Please Consider my suggestion
thanks
Regards, Ro.F

I like this idea because it is difficult for just 2 people to run everything. More people would allow everything to go smoother. I think the idea could use some modifications, but I won't list them here unless more people agree with the idea. I think we should vote on which positions are necessary, then have nominations for the positions and vote on them.

Since stuey has retired its only fair to oficially remove his name from the moderators spot under each topic!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally think the retirement of Stuey is a step in the right direction. Now if only some other people would just get the sam message.....
