Krotekus def. Marat Safin 7-6, 6-3, 6-2

Krotekus is very good on this surface, i couldn't do anything, he returned all my serves and his lobs are very effectives. Congrats Krotekus, gl for suite of tournament.

Tom Paulman def. Togtdaylttai 6-7(4) 7-6(4) 7-6(3) 7-6(8)

A close match. We (almost) didn´t have a chance on each other´s serve. As soon as we played the first couple of games I knew this match would have tie-breaks written all over it. One mini-break decided each set. The final set tie-break was very nervy (at least for me) and he had a set point after saving a match point. I have now won 10 out of my last 12 tie-breaks :D

Matches like this are the reason I prefer to play on clay or slower hard courts, because there were too many aces and not too many rallies.

Speed was very good considering that he was on the other side of the globe (I played at 8 in the morning and he at 11 pm), it was actually better than with some European players.

BTW this is the first time I have won 3 matches in a row in one tournament.

Elena Dementieva(7) def Ro.Federer(1)- 7-6 7-6 4-6 7-6

the rule is so stupid... its like i know where i guy is serving so if i move there its against the rules i think we should all have an opinion about it... but anyway it was a fantastic perfomance from both players... Great match

i do not agree with that rule of not being allowed to move before the other opponent serves. and u shouldnt' just make those rules that help your own game plan... if your serve is being predicted, find a way to be unpredictable... in real tennis players also predict the way the ball is going, and antecipation is a key to a good response. please watch real tennis before creating those rules in TE tournaments ;) lol, just a suggestion!

does this mean we are supposed to wait for the serve in the place that computer puts us?

or is it regarding the prediction of the oponent's serve (players use it to play those unreturnable returns of serve)?

in either case i dont like it. although in real tennis the returner is waiting for the serve by standing, not by runing around the baseline...
