Federer deserved to win the 4th set. Then he would have been a favourite in the 5th. But this rafa guy no matter how much I try to hate him its incredible what he does. I would like to see Nadal on the receiving end of a result where he played better and had chances but lost. He had 5 set points in the third set and federer saved four of them. I wish federer just snuck that 3rd set and tested Nadal mentally. And in the fourth federer had about 5 break points in total at 4-3 and 4-5 and saved about 3 match points. Federer really played like a God in critical moments but not enough through the course of the match and after playing amazing shots to save BPs and MPs he'd miss routine shots. I think his tactics were right at the beginning but on the return he didnt chip enough and didnt slice enough with his backhand. It was also a wrong move to hit to nadal's forehand way to early as the match went on. At the beginning of the match he did that only after 3, 4 or 5 consecutive shots to his backhand during rallies. But no matter what we say he should have done or his coaching team or pundits, he loses because of the H2H and playing worse in critical moments (although they were almost equal in that respect today). Federer equally deserved a 4 set victory today but nadal hit less UE and scrapped his way to a 4 set victory. GO DJOKOVIC for the title!!!!
