THANK YOU ROGER! [Tribute after Federer's retirement]

Postby FedererForever » 15 Sep 2022, 18:49

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the game directly, but today on September 15, 2022, Roger Federer has announced his retirement from competitive tennis. It's honestly still so surreal to me that one of the absolute GREATS of the game, now and forever has left our sport!

I remember first watching Federer during his 2008 victory against Murray at the US Open finals and I've been in love with his versatility and all court game ever since. Roger has undoubtedly left a legacy in the sport that will never ever fade.

It's funny because I had my play period for Federer set to 2024 in game, since I thought he would want to go for one last Olympics before retiring since he missed the last two editions. Nevertheless, Roger will always be one of the greatest players of all time, without a doubt.

Probably gonna do a career run for Roger in honor of the legend! Even in the game, he's always dominated and transcended the simulations lol

What are some of everyone's favorite memories of Roger?

WE LOVE YOU ROGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)     :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Roger Federer is a true artist on the tennis court. With his effortless grace and fluid movement, he paints a picture of excellence with every stroke. His racket is his paintbrush and the tennis ball his palette, as he seamlessly blends power and precision to create a masterpiece with every point. His style is timeless, and like a fine wine, he only seems to get better with age. He plays with a certain elegance and sportsmanship, which makes him not only one of the greatest players of all time, but also one of the most beloved figures in the sport. He is a true inspiration to players and fans alike, and watching him play is nothing short of a beautiful experience.

YES WE LOVE YOU ROGER..
