Hopefully Fed can do like he usually does against Soderling and "bamboozle" him with sharp angles and short slices to bring him to the net (where he is uncomfortable) and otherwise break up his rythym...
The ABSOLUTE WORST thing he can do is get "suckered" into a game of "big bang" (which is how Robin has beaten everybody else.)
Seems that Rafa, Davedenko, and even Gonzales had no "plan B" to implement against Soderling when "plan A" failed...they could only try to outhit him...and we saw what happened to THAT strategy...
Roger has a lot more "tools" at his disposal to throw at Robin if "hitting out" doesn't work...
Also, Federer (at his best) has made a living by handling the biggest servers in tennis (he's something like 29/3 against Roddick AND Karlovic COMBINED) so hopefully he can rise to the occasion and use his record against Soderling to his advantage and "put a big chill" on Robin's hot streak...
