hello
there nice short introduction, i've been ever searching for another game to play AND sim, since i've done simming for TWENTY PLUS YEARS now!
from athletic games to motor racing, american football to proper soccer, rugby and wrestling, basketball to baseball ..... and my favourite ICE HOCKEY! (NHLPA93 is still the best for me)
by the way, EXTREMELY well built tennis game you have there, and one of the BEST games i've seen from the user base!
now i'll get onto the subject in hand .....
i read what a couple of posters said about what game you would make next, that an TRACK AND FIELD / MULTISPORTS games would be a good idea!
especially an isometric viewpoint one
and it would, in fact, i'd think it would be easy to do. each event wouldn't need that much animation, so it could be done quickly, and because of the relative number of animation the bigger the models could be so the viewpoints could be numerous.
as basically there isn't really a multisport game that's out there, and i've been dying to see a proper one ..... it's a pity i'm useless at making them

i'm more of a USER and a CREATOR
ever since DALEY THOMPSONS DECATHLON i've been playing them, from that glorious game, to OLYMPIC CHALLENGE (sinclair spectrum), HYPER SPORTS and the US GOLD ones, but ever since i've not really had one to play ..... far too busy with other games, since i have NO LIFE

the last actual one i played was OLYMPIC SUMMER GAMES on the PS1! the likes of MARIO AND SONIC and DECATHLON (sega saturn) was out of reach for me, but my demented dream of having one on the PC has always been there!
you could start with the general events like 100m, 200m, 400, 800, 1500m, 3000m steeplechase, 5000m, 10000m, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles ..... and the field events discus, hammer, javelin, shot put, pole vault, long jump, triple jump ..... and the other olympic sports would be easy peasy too

swimming would be just one viewpoint, weightlifting would be the same, you already have knowledge of tennis games, and stuff like archery, cycling, diving, fencing, rowing, shooting ..... then it's just a quick hop skip and jump to get the more difficult ones up and running
now i'm just prattling on!
so there we go, worthy of having the game in existence
this compared to my demented dream of having a racing game with more than six cars (a REAL pity that THE BIG END for the amiga wasn't released) ..... i'm looking at you GENE RALLY

although with them developing GENE RALLY 2 with more cars there's still hope of at least ten ontrack at the same time ..... so good luck to them!
also like the idea of a golf game with career options, but LINKS 2003 is still out there ..... it's better than TIGER WOODS
