I believe that with this new update it for sure help the volleyers. For example I played a match and all the guy did was serve and drop volley and each time I would be right there to hit the shot but my player would just stop so it seems like the speed to get to a drop shot just dropped with the new update.

a little note on the run changes,
the run acceleration is lowered only when your speed is high, ie: that doesn't change anything about getting caught on wrong foot nor initial reaction time.
Moreover, the run acceleration lasts about 10 meters, which means you actually lose only 1/30th of second on the first 4.11 meters, ie: from the middle of the court to the single lane line. That's around 35cm of average ball travel.

I just checked and it seems to be ok in the normal case.
Did you try the new "Randomization of CPU level" in World Tour ? If yes, the problem could come from that, so you can re-dl the demo or patch, it should be ok now.

surface selection is still random ; the game then looks for a tournament that match the chosen surface ; you need to have the "Type" correctly set in the "Court.ini" file for this to work. The game can use only the 127 first courts.

I'll tune tiredness of volley jump for next Build. But that'll be effective only when tiredness is on...

By that I am meaning that it the country selection is still random and it doesn't play in the hosting country's court: I played with Spain and it played on Roland Garros court, It should be playing in Madrid or Barcelona. I played with Japan and it played on Australian Open court which means it's not working!I don't see where is the problem please fix it manu

i just mean when the passer hits (on purpose or not, because with some angles it's quite easy to catch the netcord) the netcord, the opponent at the net has no chance to defend it because his volleys will anyway go directly to the net meaning automatic point for the passer. I'm aware that this is a weapon that passers won't be able to use against great volleyers so i hope there is a way to tune the variability of the lenght of the volley when you have to defend one great passing shot or several in a row...would just be fair, otherwise give us some hints on how to pass a volleyer who hits constantly deep volleys preventing you to adjust your footwork to pass ?...

I redownload it and the same screen is poping up. So I don;t know what to do. Its saying the same thing about the port 4321 not reachable pretty much but before this new update i didnt ahve this issue.

this new version is fantastic. Realistic finally, everyone complains cause they were used to run to every single ball and return, for the 1st time manutoo you made it real and no more IMPOSSIBLE returns. Hope you keep this version, the most realistic one.

rafa's movements were really "slow" in that rally...

Manutoo, please we want the old version back or at least keep this one and fix movements, they are really strange and not realistic at all.. Also defender style is just destroyed, thats why I don't find this version good

yes cause like i said u want to run run run like u did before...but even in real life player dont reach everyball so manutto keep it And I'm a defrender and an reach the balls and attack at the same time. So everyon complaining with no reason

I don't liek this version at all Please do something. It seems like the new version not working with my network because i delted and install lik 3 times and i can only join peopel games and it would say it 200 ping but in the menu says its 400 whats with that and it wasn;t a lag ratio. So what's the deal with that. Seeing that the previous one I didn't have this issue.

So how do I fix it? I have installed every update since the first full install of 1.0d, and I haven't modded the game at all other than outfit codes for my doubles partner.
BTW, the two in the far court are CPU players, the one receiving serve in the near court is a CPU, and the one in the near court, deuce side is me. The only one that doesn't seem to have the whirling dervish movement is whoever is receiving serve; he stands at the ready as he should, but as soon as the ball is served, his arms go straight out, and all four players spin around until the point is over. It doesn't seem to affect their foot movement- they still run around the court as they should except for the arms

I'll download the patch again and give another try. Maybe the first download was corrupt somehow. I'll let you know what happens.

Did a fresh install, and then installed the latest patch, and it works pretty well now (no more whirling dervishes ). BUT, any serve that's not near the opponent is an ace. I've attached the most recent .dmo if you want to see what I mean.
