Vibration Dampeners as a Racket Accessory

Postby solidasrog » 29 Sep 2026, 23:25

I was wondering if it might be possible to add vibration dampeners as a custom racket accessory. As seen on many real-life pro rackets, a small dampener on the lower strings adds a great touch of visual realism.

Would this be something feasible to add in future updates? Thanks for all your hard work on the game!

Hello,

sorry, I don't add new features anymore.

This can be done by Modding the game, though, if you're motivated.

Thank you for the answer.

I asked around on Discord with some modders to see how this could be done. They were wondering: would adding a dampener require painting it onto the racket/string texture, or is it possible to attach a separate 3D object to the racket or string model in the modding files?

It'd be just a texture added on the strings ; with a good normal map, the 3D effect would likely be enough.
