Since the last time I installed the latest update I can't start the game. Steam starts up when I click the shortcut on my desktop and I get an error. I bought and downloaded the game off the website not from Steam and Steam never started up before.

could you try to launch the "TE4 - Patcher" again ?

And if it doesn't help, could you try to install the game with the offline installer ?

I have like 400 hours in this game (so far) and now whenever I try to boot the game up from Steam, the game crashes almost immediately. I tried verifying game files, reinstalling, deleting mods or any old files before fresh install. Installed on a different ssd drive. No luck. Still works on my steam deck but just not my PC.

there should be a crash folder with info about the crash here : %APPDATA%/../LocalLow/Mana Games/Tennis Elbow 4/Crashes (equivalent to C:/Users/[YourUserName]/AppData/LocalLow/Mana Games/Tennis Elbow 4/Crashes )

If possible, try to update your GPU drivers.

I followed this but in …Games/Tennis Elbow 4/

The folder /Crashes does not exist. Adding the folder manually does nothing (just thought I’d try, idk). The game doesn’t even get to the title screen. Very odd considering I did a fresh install. Maybe I should uninstall and make sure everything is removed? Upon crashing windows does say it is sending a report.

GPU is up to date.

Got it working. Not sure exactly what solved it, but I deleted every trace of the game, reinstalled drivers. Thanks for the help! Best game.
