1. I've downloaded and played the Linux Demo version but don't see linux version of TE4 sold on STEAM. Should I buy the full version on ManaGames site to play this game on my Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with Nvidia MX550 GPU ?

2. Could my wife use her STEAM version of TE4 on Macbook Air to LAN-connect to my Ubuntu ?

Hello,

if you want to play with your wife on Mac, you need to run the Windows version on your Linux with Proton. (because I don't update the Linux version often, and it's currently outdated, so it can't connect to the latest version on other platforms)

If you want the Linux version anyway, you need to buy the game from managames.com (and you'll get a free Steam key with it).
