First and foremost, i love te4. Best sports game ever.

I come with a suggestion to nerf net play.

I think alot of the net mechanics are great, however i think there should be some changes to it.

Alot of players will use the trick of "holding a shot button and then flick the analog/mouse in the direction you want your shot to go into"

The issue with this is,
the game does all the movement for you. I didn't even had to guess/predict where the shot was going, i just had to time the shot when the ball comes close to the racquet.

I think
1. It would be potentially good if you couldn't HOLD the shot button to charge up a shot, AND INSTEAD you have to TAP THE SHOT BUTTON. This would stop players from having that ball following animation when you hold the shot button.

OR

2. BUFF aggressive lob. In net play situations, there is no real stark difference between both lobs. The mechanics are different OFC however the effectiveness of the shot is no different. I agree it should be a difficult shot to execute, but I think IF EXECUTED CORRECTLY, the shot should be a greater asset to the defending player.

These are just my thoughts, I love this game and I want it to continue fine tuning its great self

Mmmm, I disagree personally. Online at least playing in the net against an equal level opponent is hard even in fast surfaces where it should be easier to pull off. The net jump is necessary because it's imposible to move and then press and then aim if you are at the net, because you need to react, move, hold the button and hold aiming all in a span of like 0.5 seconds or less if the opponent hits hard. Also, in online you can use aggresive Lob with 0 points in the skill and still do a lot of winners against net players, like you barely miss if you do it correctly. Passing a net player is not hard if you get to the ball with a bit of time, you can do accel down the line, short strike cross court, banana shot down the line, short accel to their feet or a Lob. All of them work, you have to know how to do it, that's all. So IMO net game is just fine
