Controlling the topspin using triggers on controller

Postby anrox335 » 25 Apr 2025, 11:44

Can we control the topspin/backspin of the shots using the triggers(L2 and R2 on dualsense, LT and RT on xbox controller) on controllers. I read somewhere that we can control the spin if we assign b1 + up on left analog and b1 + down on left analog. Since the trigger buttons are also take analog input, it should be possible to do that. However, it seems that the game reads them as digital inputs. So, I wanted to ask if it is possible to read them as analog input and control the spin on our shot using that?

Hello,

there's nothing analog : it's time based. You can put your normal strike on X and your topspin strike on X+L2 to achieve a similar result.
