So I am playing the steam version and fully updated to V1.0. But I can find the setting for the new experimental animations.

There is nothing under 3d real time match or any other tab. Where do I find this?

I rebooted my Steamdeck a few times and BOOM..the TE interface updated and the new menu item appeared! Problem solved..and I love the new animations.

yes, if you have the XKT Mod, you need to update it to the v4.0 to get the option at the bottom of Settings -> 3D Match.
