Forehand Deviates Randomly in Career Mode – Bug or Low Stats

Postby Manu--carlsen » 25 Feb 2025, 23:03

Hi everyone,

I'm playing Tennis Elbow 4 on PC with an Xbox 360 controller, currently in career mode as Jannik Sinner. I skipped several tournaments, which caused my stats to drop, including my forehand power (now below 70) and other attributes. After each tournament, I gain skill points to improve, and I always prioritize baseline stats (forehand power, consistency, accuracy, backhand, etc.).

For the past few days, I’ve encountered a strange issue:
During matches, my forehand constantly deviates.
When I prepare my shot, the preview initially shows the correct placement, but just before impact, the preview marker suddenly becomes larger, and my forehand goes completely off target.

I’m not sure if this is a bug or just a result of my lowered stats. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

your strike selection might change at the last instant : maybe you have another strike selected if you push up/down ?

If so, try to set 1 strike per button in Settings -> Controls -> Player 1. (except for the normal strike and the topspin strike, where it doesn't reset the aiming)

If not, then I'm not sure what's going on, but it's still likely something like that.
