Lag on online matches

Postby Corelho » 28 Jan 2025, 00:59

Hi!

I'm having some problems with lags when i play online matches. What can i do to play online matches without lag?

I see a number that ends in ms, like 200ms... and i dont know if the court interferes with the connection... and what configurations i can look to solve this problem.

Hello,

what kind of lag ? Rendering (ie: low fps) ? Or instable ping (ie: it goes much higher than 200ms and you see the Turtle icon) ?

A ping of 200ms is quite decent for playing the game if it's stable. And it depends on the distance between your opponent and yourself.

Its instable ping. Every match that i try to play, the oponnent retire, saying that its impossible to play. I see the turtle every match and it goes much higher than 200ms, maybe even less than 200ms it happens. I play in a good wifi. I dont know about the distance between me and my oponnent.

Wifi is known to provide very unstable latency. You should really try to get a line between your PC (or console) and your router.
