Notebook specs

Postby RedRenats » 02 Jan 2025, 04:56

Hello!

I intend to buy a simple notebook capable to play Tennis Elbow 4. I'm between a Core I5-1235u (8 gb ram) and a Ryzen 7 5700u (16 gb ram).

Both configurations can play the game with good quality and 60 fps? Which one is the best choice? (It doesn't need to be max settings).

Hello,

I'm not sure but checking the specs, the Ryzen should be better. You should likely be able to play with both in 3D with minimal settings at 60fps, but with the Ryzen you might be able to raise a few settings.

Thanks for the help, manutoo!

What about Ryzen 5 5600G? Can I play on it with high graphics at 60 fps?

I guess it's more bad.

Check its IGP name and look here : https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/mid_range_gpus.html (change "High End, High Mid Range, Low Mid Range, Low End" if needed).

You need at least 5000 points for max settings @60fps.

I have a 5600G but I play in 2D by choice. Those rare times I tried 3D I don't remember slowdowns or anything (I think I had the graphics set by default, perhaps medium details) and I was playing at 1680x1050 because I had a 16:10 60hz monitor.

Now that I've had a 24" 100hz 16:9 monitor (not for gaming) for a few months, I always play in 2D at 1920x1080 full screen, almost all at high graphics, and I reach 99 fps I think. But it's not something I control, I don't care that much.
